Business Analyst

Job Description

Work closely with multiple stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define current business process and project requirements
Translate business requirements into user stories or functional requirements
Create process maps, user stories, and relevant documentations
Support the Program Manager and Product Owners in delivering the project on-time, and within budget
Facilitate UAT with the business units
Ensure that requirements issues are tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner
Must have worked on both agile and waterfall methodologies
Must be a team player
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must comply with regulatory requirements, company and group policies; maintain compliance awareness

Competencies Required

Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with both business-oriented and technology-oriented colleagues
Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to think strategically, assess alternatives for short- and long-term initiatives
Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
Working knowledge of Office 365, Sharepoint, OneDrive
Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
Ability to identify and resolve potential issues / problems
High level of integrity

Requirements

Graduate of any 4-year IT-related course or applied science course (e.g. IT, Engineering, Math, Physics)
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the development of web and mobile applications
Must have experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies
Must be familiar with agile practices and ceremonies
Must have completed an entire SDLC
Relevant work experience, particularly in banking or investments industry
Experience with and understanding project management processes/business analysis strategies and methodologies
Knowledge of BABOK processes and concepts preferred
Experience in system and process documentation, IT development, and project management and implementation
